Memorial Parade to Take Place at Baikonur on May 9

A memorial parade is organized at Baikonur on May 9 to commemorate the 65th anniversary of the great victory over fashism in World War the Second, and the 55th anniversary of Baikonur foundation.
The organizational committee chaired by Deputy Mayor of the city Anatoly Petrenko met to discuss the celebrations to take place at Baikonur on May 8 and 9. It is planned to hold a ceremonial meeting, to honour veterans of the War, actions for young people, and a concert of local groups.
