1. PURPOSE.
Personal beacon PARM-406 is intended for object positioning and transmission of its coordinates in case of emergency to bring the rescue teams to the accident location.
The beacon can be used by search and rescue squads, tourists, mountain climbers, geologists, hunters, etc.

2. DESCRIPTION.
Personal beacon PARM-406 includes: GLONASS/GPS receiver with the antenna, PRD 406 and PRD 121 transmitters, ANT-ÀRM antenna, indicator of coordinate and service data, autonomous power supply.

Personal beacon PARM-406 is fully compliant with:
- KOSPAS-SARSAT technical requirements – C/S T.001, C/S T.007;
- Morsviazsputnik organization`s standard CTO-MCC.01-2006.
PARM-406 is approved by KOSPAS-SARSAT acceptance certificate of type ¹ 177 of July 30, 2007
